07 Stairway to Heaven

After a hearty breakfast, embark on a once-in-a-lifetime journey to Jungfraujoch, the Top of Europe, with your Swiss Pass covering part of the journey. Your adventure begins with a scenic train ride from Interlaken to Lauterbrunnen or Grindelwald. From there, you will take a cogwheel train to Kleine Scheidegg, where you will board the famous Jungfrau Railway. Spend your evening exploring Chapel Bridge, one of the oldest wooden bridges in Europe, or visit the moving Lion Monument, a tribute to the Swiss Guards. You can also enjoy a leisurely walk along the shores of Lake Lucerne.

After breakfast, embark on an exciting excursion to Mt. Titlis using your Swiss Pass. Travel from Lucerne to Engelberg by train (approximately 1 hour), where you’ll board the Titlis Xpress Gondola. Ascend through meadows and forests, then transfer to the world’s first rotating cable car, which takes you to the summit of Mt. Titlis at 3,238 meters.

At the top, enjoy the stunning panoramic views of the surrounding snow-capped mountains. Walk across the Titlis Cliff Walk, Europe’s highest suspension bridge, and explore the Glacier Cave. Don’t miss a ride on the Ice Flyer chairlift, which glides over the glacier, giving you unparalleled views of the crevasses below.

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before checking out. Head to the Lucerne train station and board your train to Zurich using your Swiss Pass. The journey from Lucerne to Zurich takes approximately 50 minutes, offering scenic views of Swiss landscapes along the way.

Upon arrival in Zurich, check into your hotel and get ready to explore Switzerland’s largest city. You can begin with a visit to Bahnhofstrasse, one of the world's most exclusive shopping avenues. For a more historical experience, visit the Old Town (Altstadt) and discover landmarks such as Grossmünster and Fraumünster churches, known for their striking architecture and stained-glass windows. You can also enjoy a leisurely walk along the Limmat River or visit Lake Zurich for some relaxation by the water.

In the evening, consider a visit to Zurich West, a trendy district filled with art galleries, bars, and modern restaurants.
